Training Location : Branford, Florida
Date Attended : 06/27/2014
Duration of Training: : 1 Week
Would you Recommend? : A Great Training, I would do it again
Difficulty of Training : Wow, It Was Really Tough
Comments : This being my third medical training in the Sea Cadets I can honestly say this was the best. Everyday we would spend 2 hours in the classroom and about 8-10 hours in the field taking care of trauma patients. We wore at least 60 pounds of gear not to mention we were marching and running for miles taking care of wounded. We were issued two MRE'S a day which was different but adaptable. If we didn't act like a team they would pt us until we were on the verge of breaking. I recommend this training for anyone interested in Navy Field Medicine. Our instructors are both currently active duty in the medicine field in the military so the training we received they went through as a result we learned the most modern field medicine in the military. Definitely the best/hardest week of my life.

Difficulty of Training : A Good Challenge
Comments : The training I attended was Hospital Corpsman Training. It was a very advance medical course. I worked intensely in the classroom and in the field. We had active duty Fleet Marine Force(FMF)Corpsman train us in a very brief TCCC, Tactical Combat Casualty Course. The course is what all active duty FMF's take before going on deployment. Overall great experience Id love to do it again.
