NLCC or NSCC : NSCC -
Sea Cadet
Training
Location : NAS Jacksonville, Florida
Date Attended : 07/17/2010
Duration of Training: : 2 Weeks
Would you Recommend?? : A Great Training, I would do it again
Difficulty of Training : A Little Tough
Comments : Overall, this training was amazing and very hands on. We trained with active duty rescue swimmers at the US Navy Rescue Swimmer School. We were issued gear and treated like actual students going through the one month long course. Anyone going to this training can expect a lot of swimming, PT, and evaluations in both. Great physical shape is key to passing. The officers there give you plenty of free time. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is motivated, ready for PT, and ready for a real rescue swimmer experience.
